So I have joined the million others that are obsessed with The Game of  Thrones. I’m usually not a fantasy reader, I stick more to my thrillers and historical novels but Game of  Thrones has a Medieval fantasy feel to it. It’s like The Tudors meet Lord of the Rings. My husband and I started watching the HBO series when it started last month and by the time I was done with the first episode I was downloading the 4 book set off of iBooks. I was amazed at how closely they were actually following the book and fell into this world that I don’t want to part with. It took me about a week and a half to read all four and I am eagerly anticipating Dance With The Dragons coming out next month. I fully plan on doing a review on each book but for just the fun of it, I decided to interview my husband, who has not wanted to read the books until at least the end of the first season.

So, if any of you have read the books but have not caught it on HBO, we are to the point that Sansa is begging Joffrey mercy for Ned’s life, Arya has escaped, Catelyn has joined Rob and Jon Snow has just killed the other at the wall. Oh, and Khal Drogo is just about to be treated by the Mirri the healer. If you’ve read the books, you know that this is ONLY the beginning and like on LOST, no one is safe.

I decided to interview my husband what he thought would happen in this book….

Mel- So Brandon, what do you think will happen to Ned Stark?

Brandon- He will be freed somehow, it’s not like they can kill off the star of the show.

Mel- Your right, they couldn’t do that. Do you think that Syrio was killed?

Brandon- No, I think he is with Arya and keeping her safe.

Mel- What about Arya, what do you see her doing?

Brandon- Arya will do something spectacular.

Mel- What about…..Khal Drogo and Daenerys?

Brandon- They will get a boat and come over and attack.

Mel- What do you see happening with Tyrion?

Brandon- I see him as a good guy, he just needs to get away from his father.

Mel- What about Jaime?

Brandon- He continues killing people until he catches up to Ned.

Mel- What do see Jon Snow doing?

Brandon- He will become a great warrior.

Mel- At the wall?

Brandon- No, he’ll have to leave the wall to fight for his family.

Mel- What do you see happening with Bran?

Brandon- He’ll end up running Winterfell.

Mel- What about Catelyn?

Brandon- I think she will be killed.

Mel- Before or after seeing Ned again?

Brandon- After.

Mel- What about Sansa?

Brandon- She’s just along for the ride.

Mel- Last one… What about Cersei?

Brandon- She’ll be beheaded for incest.

Should be fun watching his reaction to the last 2 episodes of the season. After that I will have to make him read the books so that we can talk about them:) LOL!
