Last week I read a quick book, Sail by James Patterson. I will review it this week. I needed a break from the Outlander Series for a couple of days. I did finish ‘The Fiery Cross’ yesterday and have moved onto ‘A Breath of Snow and Ashes’ I will be ready to be done with these book for awhile, although, I absolutely love them but they are so consuming. I’m excited to move onto some  of my lighter reads. I did go to Borders this last weekend and picked up a copy of ‘Daring Time’.

I am excited to report that I did receive some books in the mail this last week. I did not get them from giveaway’s, I bought them from Barnes and Noble online. I received ‘Bad Girls Don’t Die’ since I couldn’t find it on eBook version and then I received the ‘North and South’ trilogy. I watched North and South when I was 12. It was on T.V. and I’m still surprised my parents let me watch it being the strict mormon’s that they were. I loved Orry Main(Patrick Swayze) still love him to this day. I never read the books so I thought I would read them now. Back when the mini series was on I hated the way it ended so I took it upon my myself to rewrite the ending. Of course in my ending Orry Main was still alive. I had 200 pages of a script written out. Anyone that knew about it would tease me but I was proud of my ‘book’. I even went through my Soap Opera Digests and cut out pictures of the actors that I thought should play the parts of the characters. I’m pretty sure it has been thrown out throughout the years, but if it does still exist it would be in my parents basement in Utah. I’ll have to look the next time I visit. So I guess I was writing Fan Fiction before it ever existed! LOL!
